Olive wood is a hard wood making it very dense and durable for everyday use. Olive wood is nonporous so no germs or odors are retained. All products are made from a single piece of wood- they are seamless and no two pieces are alike.

Natural OliveWood is a family-owned business that handcrafts kitchen utensils and tableware from non-productive olive trees. Brothers Hatem and Walid Alimi were born in Tunisia, which used to be a French protectorate, and learned the art of carving the trunks of olive trees from a young age. Today, their family produces beautiful kitchenware with striking swirls, characteristic of the olive trees' gnarled and knotted trunks.
Natural OliveWood products are safe and sustainable, naturally nonporous and coated in a protective layer of olive oil.
Care: Simply hand wash and rinse the pieces in warm water and leave to dry in a vertical position. Do not soak and do not put in the dishwasher. To prevent the wood from drying, occasionally apply some vegetable oil.
