A little bit of history
In 1976, Serge Evans created his first cookie manufacture in the Drôme Provençale, the northern gateway to Provence. His love of delicacies was passed on from his father who was an ice-cream maker and his mother, a shopkeeper.
As his business grew Serge and his wife returned to Marseille, their hometown, and in 1992, they decided to expand into gourmet food in order to show the world the best specialties from Provence.
Located in the charming small French town of Eguilles, near Aix-en-Provence, L'Ami Provençal offers an assortment of top quality products that range from old-fashioned candies, French honey and sea salt, to natural bath and beauty products, herbs de Provence and French lavender.
Each item is manufactured with the greatest respect for the environment and is delightfully packaged with precision and care.
The line of L'Ami Provençal herbs contain only the best quality herbs, which are packaged in stone jars, linen bags and burlap bags.
