These beautiful "hirondelle" birds, or swallow in English, are the sweetest wall decor! They each have a metal loop in the back so they can easily be hung on a wall. In France, swallows are a popular bird as they announce the arrival of spring. Make sure you look out for them if you ever travel to France in the summer months!
They are made in the heart of Provence by an artist who has been making traditional handcraft for decades. He first drafts his designs, then he creates unique moulds where he pours plaster to form each one of his creations. Afterwards, he applies beautiful pigments from the local region and finally, he adds a patina to give that old-world weathered look to each piece.
